We got a box lunch today, a bit disappointing after yesterday’s lunch of roast chicken, salad and a bunch of sides but there are probably twice as many people to feed today.

Interesting for a west coaster like me are the chips:

I’ve never heard of Jay’s before but their tagline “Can’t stop eating ‘em” seems similar to Lay’s “Betcha can’t eat just one”. Acording to the story on the bag Jay’s have been around since 1927, which predates Lay’s 1938 beginings. Who knows which slogan came first?

I’ll be leaving for PyCon this afternoon. I’m at work at the moment getting all of my last minute things together for the trip. Since starting at Biamp in Nov. ‘06 I haven’t been away for more than a 3 day weekend so this seems like a bit of a big trip. When I was a CPS I traveled quite a bit more but it was usually to just down to the Bay Area where I know my way around.

I really just started this blog so I could keep track of this trip. I joined CrowdVine and twitter for the trip as well.
